Urban Prime was a great dining experience! The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our waiter Julia was very friendly and attentive, checking on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was relaxed but upscale, perfect for a nice evening out. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This was our first time at Urban Prime after a very long wait. My husband and I rarely have baby sitting, so we took advantage of a local company offering a Parents' Night Out! The only reason I will not give a full 5 star review is because of their wait time. We had a reservation and still had to wait 1 hour for a table. We sat at the bar for the first hour. Our service was amazing, the bar tenders were more than attentive and made us delicious drinks. We also ended ordering some oysters after 30 minutes of being told we still had to wait. We would not have waited for a table in the main dining room if we had been told that it would take so long. Poor communication by the hosts, in my opinion. Their saving grace was our waiter Brock. He was truly amazing and really expedited our food when we explained that we were in a hurry. We were able to get our food and eat in less than 30 minutes, which is not my idea of an enjoyable meal, especially the first time experiencing a new place. I like to take my time and taste different items. I would have also liked to try a dessert. Our meal was very good and the portions are very reasonable. In all honesty I was underwhelmed by the atmosphere, but I will go back to the bar and just order some drinks and apps.

I was disappointed the first time I visited Urban Prime—but the new management is absolutely killing it. Their first “Bourbon at the Urban” event this past weekend was a 10/10 experience. The food was five-star across the board, with standout pairings like peppercorn-crusted venison loin with Booker’s “Jerry’s Batch,” smoked honey bourbon lamb chops with Wild Turkey Rare Breed, and bourbon-glazed beef tartare with Elijah Craig Barrel Proof. Each dish was paired perfectly with top-shelf bourbon, and Lindsay, the Sommelier, and whiskey specialist, guided us through each pour with passion and precision. Add in fireplaces, a live jazz band, and flawless service—and you’ve got one of the best dining experiences in town. Can’t wait for the next one.

Great food and service. Just visiting Melbourne and was very impressed by the hospitality from the staff. I loved the paintings and lighting of the restaurant. Food was delicious. It was hard to choose what to eat. Our waitress AnneKay made my night with a complimentary birthday dessert and attentive service. Overall definitely recommended for a delicious night out.
